Since I come from the south of the country, two things surprised me. Firstly, that the Elbe has a high, steep bank and secondly, that it is so wildly overgrown. If you didn't know that you were on the Elbe, you might think you were in a low mountain range🤷🏻‍♂️

Located directly on the banks and slopes of the Elbe, historic half-timbered houses are lined up on Elbstraße.
