The Maxsee, southwest of Hoppegarten in Müncheberg, is a real gem in the Brandenburg landscape. There's a lot of activity here at the weekend, but during the week you can really enjoy the lake and its tranquility. But it's not just nature that's a highlight here. The variety of fish is not without it. Perch, carp and pike, even pike-perch have already attracted anglers here. Sure, there's a lot of fishing going on at the weekend. But during the week you can choose your spot and fish in peace. One more thing: the islands in the middle of the lake? It's better to leave them alone. They belong to the birds and nature. But with a boat, without a motor of course, you can go for a little spin.

Easy to circumnavigate on foot or by bike, the attentive observer will always find beaver tracks.
