Kößlmühle is a tiny settlement that has been known since at least the 17th century. It offers you a lovely view of Vohenstrauß.

The town of Fiedlbühl is located in the Upper Upper Palatinate Forest about 1.6 km north of Vohenstrauß and 2.5 km north of the A6 motorway. It is located on the southwest edge of the extensive forest area around the 801 m high Fahrenberg. On the eastern outskirts of Fiedlbühl is a pond into which two streams flow from the Fahrenberg massif from the north. The eastern stream is called Fahrenberger Bach.[ The pond drains into the Fahrenberger Bach.[

This old saw gate can be seen at the side of the road near the Klößlmühle.
