This highlight has two sides. The Banzberg Mountains in general, and the Banzberg in particular, are hiking highlights in a beautiful hiking area. The location of the highlight—the Banzberg Mountains—in the middle of it all needs to be reconsidered. BECAUSE: Where the Banzberge highlight is currently located, the Banzberg Mountains are rather boring. There's a perfectly straight forest road that winds across the hills for 2 to 3 km without any real highlights. The only interesting thing are the trail markers 😊 If you have children with you, they will rightly start whining. Because there are no views and little to experience on this forest road. Therefore, you should only aim for this highlight if you don't feel confident enough to hike the much more beautiful Maximilians Trail. It's a bit longer, but it's a real hiking trail with roots and small, but safe, "precipices." This hiking trail is a real highlight.
