In 1627, Baltasar Raubacher (also known as Rankenbacher) built a chapel in honor of the Holy Blood next to his Schwaige Geiselgasteig "ex voto in dangerous illness". The altar bears the year 1735, the bell the year 1632. Ecclesiastically, the "Schwaige Geiselgasteig" originally belonged to the parish of Bogenhausen, later to the parish of Neudeck (Munich-Au), since 1827 to Hl. Kreuz, Giesing, and since 1913 to the parish of Oberhaching, Kuratie Grünwald.
