All the elements of a classic Bavarian village can be found on the central square of Hohenbrunn around the intersection of Dorfstrasse / Taufkirchener Str. The parish church is a baroque hall building on a medieval basis - the originally square church tower with its distinctive onion dome was rebuilt in 1670 to its current octagonal shape. The cemetery behind the church with renewed walling has decorated, raised grave monuments from the late 19th / early 20th century. Next to the town hall is the old public Waghaus with weighbridge from 1882. The small forest chapel in the Putzbrunn district of Waldkolonie near the Neubiberger municipality border reminds you of the victims of the First World War (at least also) on closer inspection of the faded dedication sign. Interestingly enough, not much more is known about the history of the pretty chapel.
