Well worth seeing, lonely and enchanted in winter. Depending on the snow/ice conditions, crampons are a good idea, but you can definitely venture through.

Good place for a quick break. The hut wasn't open when I was there, but there's a table and benches you can rest on, and they are covered by a roof in case you need to escape a rain or snow storm :)

The view from the Zeitberg is breathtaking. Your gaze wanders from the mountains far out into the Alpine foothills. Just a few steps away you can take a break and let yourself be pampered in the Hörnlehütte.

Rather small terrace, but very cozy. Service very friendly. Food delicious and plentiful. Prices OK.
