The Ettaler saddle (869m above sea level) is an ideal "beginner's pass". Due to the moderate and constant incline and the relatively short distance, the Ettaler Sattel is perfect for cyclists who want to practice driving over passes. However, a high volume of traffic is to be expected on weekends, especially when the weather is nice and during rush hours.
