On Sundays, the restaurant closes at 4:00 PM. Don't they need it?

Even better than the show dairy is the Meier bakery right next door! Ideal for a refreshing snack in the form of a cream cake or a Nide cake.

Fire pit with bench and high table and as an added bonus there is a magnificent view of the Emmental and the Alps.

If you're lucky, you can actually enjoy a 360-degree view. But you don't always get to see our three most beautiful peaks in the Bernese Alps, the Eiger, the Mönch and the Jungfrau. Today was another day like that!

Is on my way to school, on weekends the street is busy depending on the time, as well as from rush hour traffic. Important: Trucks are not allowed on the Lueg, nor are coaches, because they would have to take a 30-minute break at the Lueg restaurant. So only normal cars :-)

Rotenbaum is on a connecting path from the Lueg to the Zeitlistal. The path is paved and therefore easy to walk on, but is also used by cars from time to time. Due to its location, however, it offers a great view of the Bernese Oberland.

On the newly paved road, I sped down the mountain at up to 5 km/h higher speed, which is just plain fun. This road is on my way to school and the new surface is much quieter and very quiet, comfortable and easy to drive.
