I think the view all the way to the Hornisgrinde is exaggerated; perhaps a more general direction is more accurate. The elevation of Simmersfeld with its wind turbines at 900 meters is visible on the horizon.

Kühlenberg, at 629.6 meters above sea level, is the highest point of the elongated ridge east of the Nagold River on the western edge of the Gäu region, and thus the highest point in the district of Böblingen. The border between the Baden-Württemberg districts of Böblingen and Calw runs across the mountain, meaning it belongs both to the Nagold district of Emmingen in the district of Calw and to the municipality of Jettingen in the district of Böblingen.

The picture frames are popular photo motifs and are attached to the bridges that cross the Nagold and Waldach rivers.

It was built in 1999 by Gernot Rumpf. A fountain with whimsical mythical creatures. The golden unicorn, an ancient Marian symbol, is meant to represent the old town church "Our Lady's Church," which once stood here.
