The tower in Adelsheim, also known as the Round Tower, is located near the town mill on the banks of the Kirnau. It is a historic building with a half-timbered upper story and a tent roof. The tower is part of the town fortifications.

In front of the Roman Museum stands this impressive statue of a Roman legionary, depicting Publius Junius Secundus. The soldier was stationed in Osterburken in the 3rd century AD as a beneficiary of the governor. Beneficiaries were soldiers assigned to special duties such as customs and police duties.

A visit here not only guarantees knowledge, but also the feeling that history can truly come alive.

The Osterburken Roman Museum is a branch museum of the Baden-Württemberg State Archaeological Museum and one of the supra-regional information centers for the UNESCO World Heritage Site Upper Germanic-Raetian Limes in the state of Baden-Württemberg.
