The former prison is now a hotel with 11 double rooms and a restaurant. The hotel rooms were formerly prison cells and the old inspector's quarters. In Den Gamle Arrest, the old prison cells are furnished as double rooms with a rustic and simple interior. The inspector's bedroom has a four-poster bed and a bathtub. Two of the cells and an attic room have private bathrooms/toilets. Four of the rooms were formerly the former inspector's residence, as were the reception and the restaurant.

Weis Stue is one of Denmark's most beautiful and best-preserved inns and is located in the old town center of Ribe, Denmark's oldest city. The house's history dates back to the 16th century. Weis Stue is divided into four cozy guest rooms, each with its own unique historic charm: Skænkstuen (the Tap Room), Vagtstuen (the Guard Room), Grøn stue (the Green Room), and Ribestuen (the Ribe Room). Seven guest rooms are located on the first and second floors of the house.

Just behind the North Sea dike, Vester Vedsted’s shelters offer a scenic and peaceful stop. A nearby memorial and plaques mark the old Danish-German border (1864–1920) and a restored dyke hut from the 1920s. The site is clean, includes toilet facilities, and offers stunning sunset views. Located on Eurovelo 12 and Vestkustruten, it’s popular with cyclists, so reserving ahead is wise (except for one non-reservable shelter).

The main road, Neder-, Mellem-, and Overdammen, was built as a dam over Ribe Å, dividing it into three narrow, rushing streams. The gradient is steep, so the water power was used to power the king's mills and later the citizens' mills. Today, only one water wheel is still turning.
