The Pfänderdohle mountain hut is situated in a quiet location, somewhat away from the hustle and bustle, and is a cozy place to stop for refreshments on the Pfänder mountain. Enjoy regional delicacies on the terrace or a bench while taking in the view over the wooded slopes and towards Lake Constance. It's an ideal rest stop on hiking and biking tours around Bregenz's local mountain.

The viewing platform on the Pfänder mountain offers a magnificent view over Bregenz, Lake Constance, the Rhine Valley, and the mountains of the Allgäu and Bregenzerwald regions. With railings and information panels, it's ideal for taking in the scenery, identifying peaks, and taking photos. A perfect spot for a break and enjoying the panoramic views, right at the summit.

The Hirschbergalpe is situated in a scenic location below the Hirschberg mountain and offers a cozy place to stop for refreshments on the meadow slopes above Langen. Surrounded by cows, wooden barns, and mountain views, you can enjoy genuine Vorarlberg alpine idyll here. It's the perfect spot to take a short break on the terrace or a bench before continuing towards the summit or back down into the valley.

Sections 7 to 9, the descent towards Bregenz, are unrideable. In some places, the path is completely obscured. There's vegetation, roots, and large drops. Even a Red Bull pro would struggle. Not recommended for everyday mountain bikers like myself. Never again.

South of the Pfänder summit is the Pfänder Dohle guesthouse, which enjoys a very quaint location.
