No other country, when the weather is behaving, is as beautiful as the UK countryside.

This church was built in 1846 in Early English Gothic style. It is a Grade II listed building. The churchyard is quite beautiful, too. The church feels like it should be in a much quieter village and location - has that quaint, calming air to it.

Merlin’s Cave is a true country pub with a bustling bar area, a menu filled with homely comforts, and a gorgeous garden; the perfect space to unwind in the heart of Chalfont St Giles. Located opposite the village green and nestled between the River Misbourne and the parish church. Our beautiful garden is the perfect place to relax for an after-work drink or a weekend family get-together.

Good place for a coffee stop. "The Deli" serves excellent coffee and has a good range of snacks. There are tables inside and outside or if they're busy, there are benches on the green opposite.

Poet John Milton lived here and there is a small museum on the hill out of town.

Nice village to pause at. The village green has benches and there are two cafés (and a few pubs!)
