9月 14, 2024, Broken Metal Gate
There are some good tracks located around the ponds and lakes in this area. Some gates are difficult to get through on a bike, they are narrowed at the top. Ok for a person to walk through but they might be designed to prevent bikes from getting through. However, I did not see any signage asking bikes not to pass through anywhere

6月 22, 2020, The Ropewalk Arts Centre
The Ropewalk was once a rope making factory, Hall’s Barton Ropery, dating back to between 1800 and 1803. The Grade II listed building, which stretches a quarter of a mile along the length of Barton Haven, now houses the The Ropewalk arts centre and Museum containing displays, artifacts and other memorabilia associated with the history of the factory and its workforce. It also has a great little cafe and is well worth a visit.

6月 22, 2020, Horkstow Suspension Bridge
This little wooden bridge on the National Byway route is lovely. There's a little bit of gravel on the western approach but it's very ridable. If you've got skinny tyres though, you'd best get off and push over the bridge as you could get your wheel caught in between the wooden planks.
