Great for coffee, tea and cakes 😍

On the first Sunday of the month in the Village Hall, there's plenty of cakes and hot drinks. In the morning it's set aside for cyclists, with racks for bikes.

Beautiful peaceful stunning views and wildlife. Some great terrain and some more difficult but worth it.

Smooth until you get to the end. Heading north and around the last bend will send you down into a steep rocky chute that spits you out onto the road. Highly recommended!

A short way up a gated gravel track on route 41.

No idea if this is where Nick Park (creator and director of the Wallace and Gromit films) lives. The Shaun the Sheep sculptures where originally created and installed around London then around Bristol during the summer of 2015. Their were 120 of them. They got auctioned off for charity at the end of the tour.

From the north a very sandy under surface with chunky loose gravel broken up by hooves, climbs up past Titters Hill on the right and onto a lovely, level, bridleway with great views and the occasional friendly sports cow rider. The gate to the right once you meet the top is a decent connection to Elberton/Littleton but it passes through active cow fields which isn't ideal. Cos of the poo.

The Ship Inn is a Grade II listed former coaching inn built in 1589.

Great spot to look down the historic Castle Street, with the pump at the top.

Great section of gravel track. Great to do with the other highlighted section nearby (Duckhole Drover's Lane), though a bridleway through a field needs to be traversed between the two. The field itself is fairly flat and solid, though not likely to be like that in the winter!

I guess this might be Nick Parks' house, judging by the Shaun the Sheep statues in the garden!

Lovely village community shop. They do cake, coffee from a caffetiere and there are bike racks outside!
