High up on the mountain, good food before the big hike begins 👍😋

The hikers' parking lot is further down the trail. It's certainly a nice spot near the wooden hiker.

There's also a farm shop with homemade alpine cheese and gray cheese. Delicious!

Looking toward Seekarlspitze, a garden gnome is hiding on the next peak, which was probably placed there over ten years ago. Although, it's not exactly "hiding." The little fellow has a wonderful panoramic view from his position. Only the distance makes him difficult to spot, especially if you don't know he's there.

After the hike to the Rofanspitze, we absolutely recommend a refreshing drink

The Dalfazalm is a working alpine pasture located high above Lake Achensee at 1,693 m. They offer a variety of food and drinks, as well as homemade cakes. The view from the terrace is beautiful. 👍

Whether from the terrace of the Erfurter Hütte or from the mountain station of the Rofanbahn, the view is magnificent.
