From Assach, the ascent is very comfortable up to the Assacher Scharte, followed immediately by a steep, rope-secured section. The summit ridge continues relatively flat, and shortly before the summit, there's another rope-secured section. Overall, every potentially dangerous and exposed section is well secured with ropes and footholds.

Only the Flora via ferrata can be done without via ferrata equipment, provided that you have sturdy shoes and are sure-footed. All others require the necessary equipment, but are also more fun 😉. Very nice views included👍. At the top, near the "normal" summit path, there is a suspension bridge that belongs to the climbing garden. This can be easily avoided and was often the location for the ZDF series “The Mountain Rescuers”.

6月 10, 2023, Peter Rosegger Monument
This monument, which weighs around 3.5 tons and is made of marble powder, was erected in 1968 in memory of the Styrian poet Peter ROSEGGER (1843 to 1918). The artist for the statue was Siegfried Schwab from Trieben. Rossegger was friends with Emil Ritter von Horstig, the builder of the "Friedenskircherl" (if you are interested, see hiking highlight https://www.komoot.com/de-de/highlight/258857 ). His lines are written on the foundation of the monument: "What should I write in these mountains full of sunshine? I can only be silent in devotion and be blissful!"

Emil Ritter von Horstig (1845 to 1931) was the builder of this small and simple, but perhaps for that reason very impressive, "Peace Church". A sign informs: "The Stoderkirchel stands in a rock niche as a symbol of tolerance and mutual respect among the denominations... This landmark of the Enns Valley belongs to the Gröbming local office of the Austrian mountain rescue service and is also lovingly maintained by them."

The drive up the Stoderzinken Alpine Road is an experience in itself. Especially in the last third, where the road hugs the rocks to the starting point. On the short hike from the Rosemi Alm to the Alpengasthof Steiner, you get your first glimpse of the Dachstein glacier high above the forest. A beautiful, narrow path leads directly along the rocks to the chapel, which sits like an eagle's nest on the summit and offers a wonderful view over the Ennstal and to Gröbming and Aich-Assach. The Friedenskircherl is the most beautiful place in Austria

The Stoderzinken is an impressive mountain near Gröbming, which invites you to numerous activities in summer. At an altitude of 2048 m, it can be reached via an Alpine road, integrated into the Schladming-Dachstein holiday region. Arriving at the Stoder summit, visitors can look forward to a wonderful view that extends up to 100 km on a clear day.

The Friedenskircherl is a small chapel on the Stoderzinken at an altitude of 1898 m above sea level. A. in the municipality of Aich, district of Liezen, in the Austrian state of Styria. It can only be reached via a footpath. Over the decades, this small place of worship on Gröbming's local mountain has become a landmark that is known far beyond the borders of the Ennstal. Great destination, great view of the mountain landscape. Good paths, well signposted. Beautiful, 'lonely' path, some climbing is allowed (it would be very demanding with children's backpacks).
