It would actually be a beautiful little hike – along the stream with its magical bridges (there are even dog poop bags at the beginning of the route) – but unfortunately, they're supposed to distribute such bags to people too! We almost stepped in them five times! Disgusting!

Certainly one of the most beautiful alpine pastures in the Alps. Distant views of the Zugspitze, Karwendel Mountains, Kaunertal Valley, Pitztal Valley, Inn Valley, and more. The cuisine is excellent, and beer, wine, and schnapps from the surrounding area are available! A special highlight is the sunrise hike to the "Imsterberger Venetkreuz" (Imsterberg Venet Cross). Any car can drive to the parking lot at the alpine hut. From there, it's about a 45-minute walk to the cross. A spectacular sunrise awaits you there. Afterwards, a delicious sunrise breakfast is served at the alpine pasture (please reserve by phone).

Such a fantastic view, definitely worth it!

Anyone who is allowed to park here while doing their everyday shopping must have been lucky.

Is it worth the hike there

We had a comfortable stay in the small Larcher Alm. There are about 20 beds and a shower. Nice hosts!

From the Venetalm you have a wonderful view of the front Pitztal with Kaunergrat and Geigenkamm, the Tschirgant and the Lechtal Alps.
