Very nice cycle path with a great panorama of the mountains.

The Hecherhütte is located just above Viehhofen. Very friendly people, and you get a free view of the valley and the Schmittenhöhe.

Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of the hut. But the service is very friendly. There's a beautiful view of the Schmittenhöhe and the valley below. The hut is easily accessible on foot from Viehhofen.

You shouldn't be afraid of heights. There's a bit of scrambling and climbing right next to the steep slope. As "normal" hikers, we were a bit panicked for a moment. But the view is absolutely beautiful.
