For me, Rudolfshütte is pretty unique, at least here in the Hohe Tauern region. The hotel is located at around 2,300 meters altitude. So you not only have a guarantee of snow, but also a great starry sky on clear nights and a wonderful view of the glacier. And all this with full hotel service and sauna. Since the ski area hasn't really been developed, there are more mountain athletes up here than ski tourists and that's a great combination.

Fantastic lake at 2,279 meters. Not only a great photo motif, but also a place for strength and an ideal place to take a break!

For me personally one of the most beautiful places I have visited. Great views and a wonderfully situated lake. This is the second time I've been there and I'll be back.

Personally, I don't think the mountain hotel fits into the landscape, but this place does give beautiful views of the glacier and some surrounding high peaks.

The Weißsee is located at the foot of a number of high peaks and from here also a good view of the glacier. A mountain hotel has now been built where you can stay or have something to eat and/or drink.

Small via ferrata, it's fun!

If you want to circumnavigate the Weißsee, you cannot avoid this passage. Surefootedness should be available.
