Whitlingham Country Park is where the majesty of the Broads meets the buzz of the city. Just a short walk from Norwich's centre, the serene trails here are adored by locals and visitors alike. There's a cafe, an adventure centre and trails that explore the park's woodlands and meadows.

Carrow Road is the ground of Norwich City Football Club, the club's home since 1935. The stadium is renowned for its vibrant and passionate atmosphere during Norwich City matches. The fans and team are known as 'The Canaries'. Norwich’s ‘purple pedalway’, a local cycle route runs past the south east side of the ground.

A flat, paved path leads you along the serene River Wensum that runs through the heart of Norwich. You'll be afforded views of canal boats and historic buildings as you jog along the water.

This is an enjoyable section of running around the beautiful Whitlingham Great Broad lake. The lake has a shared-use path that spans the entire circumference, offering panoramic views and great bird-spotting opportunities.

This is a great little cafe to rest and refuel at after a pleasant walk around Whitlingham Broad. The cafe serves hot food and cakes throughout the day and is open 9am-5pm, seven days a week.

Whitlingham Great Broad is a man-made lake in the Whitlingham Country Park. The Great Broad and nearby Little Broad were dug for gravel in the 1990s and have now transformed into today’s oasis for wildlife and leisure. At one end of the lake, there's an ancient forest and remnants of chalk pits and a Lime kiln.

The Barn at Whitlingham Country Park serves food from 9-5 in summer and 10-4 in winter, 7 day's a week. The park is on the outskirts of Norwich and is the cities gateway to the Broads. With over 280 acres of beautiful countryside, the park has cycle paths, a picnic meadow, and a visitors centre as well as the cafe.

A surprisingly nice area to stop and the Red Lion opposite is a cracking pub for a pint

Walk don't ride, busy road, narrow path, but joins onto lovely ride into norwich

Nice wooded area to walk your dogs, but it can get very wet after rain, especially in the winter. I am looking forward to coming back in the spring/autumn to explore in better weather
