Strand Stores will give you a lovely welcome. They now have a proper espresso machine but still offer cafetieres as well. They are offering a 10% discount on cafe purchases to anyone who arrives by bike and has cycled more than 2 miles! The cakes and savouries are really tasty.

This is a great little store/coffee shop on Culmstock. In recent years it has added a brand new coffee machine and the taste and aroma is wonderful. The food is also excellent….so if passing do check out, you won’t be disappointed 😀

Culmstock All Saints Church is a listed medieval building. It is perhaps most well known for the beautiful 200-year-old yew tree that grows out the top of its tower.

Coldharbour Mill has been in production since 1797 and is one of the oldest mills in UK. It is a working museum where you can watch skilled tradespeople work with wool and yarn in traditional ways. A steep climb up, but the all-round views are worth it.

Noted for the yew tree growing on top of the tower, the tree is believed to be well over 200 years old.
