Knightshayes Court is an impressive grand Gothic Revival country house set in a beautiful garden, with over 1,200 unique plant species. NCN 3 passes through the historic Knightshayes Estate, grounds owned and managed by the National Trust.

A family-friendly museum with plenty of interactivity for children, the Tiverton Museum of Mid Devon Life offers an unrivalled look at how local communities developed. Featuring the Tivvy Bumper, a GWR steam engine, this museum is a popular day trip. Mid Devon is largely rural but has a complex and impressive history in industries from mining to lace making. You'll learn about historical agriculture practices and see for yourself how the county's little communities sustained themselves despite their remote locations.

Designed by Henry Lloyd, Tiverton Town Hall was open in 1864. It was built by Samuel Garth, Mayor of Tiverton from 1861 to 1862. The pale stone building houses many old paintings of royalty, former politicians and Royal Navy ships.
