Arundel is a picturesque town nestled along the River Arun known for its charming town centre that blends medieval and Victorian architecture. This is a pretty cool bridge, as it is one of the few retractable steel pedestrian footbridges in existence. The bridge linking East and West Littlehampton across the River Arun in 1981 has a retractable steel section to allow access to any piloted vessels upriver. It gives great views up and down the River Arun from here too.
