Steep brabourne hill climb to trig

Constructed circa 1293, the origins of this site likely predate 1066, possibly housing a church. Presently, its meticulously maintained interior, adorned with floral arrangements, showcases remarkable craftsmanship by local sculptor Michael Rust and the late artist Gordon Davis.

Farthing Common is a well-known local viewpoint at one of the highest summits in the Kent Downs AONB. From here, the scene takes in the rolling farmland and small scattered settlements that characterise the North Downs. From the common there are extensive views across Kent and on a clear day it is possible to see as far as the Cliffs at Fairlight in Sussex
