Officially called Bonchurch Landslip, this area of enchanted woodland has grown up since Victorian times over a land slide. It's easy to think you are in a magical rainforest or somewhere far more exotic than the south coast of England. Favourite features are the Wishing Seat and the Devil's Chimney, a set of steps hewn into a gap between two rocky outcrops.

It's high, but it's worth the climb. On a good day you can see all the way to the Isle of Portland to the west and even to France to the south. St Boniface Down is home to the highest point on the Isle of Wight. The trig point, just north of here stands at 241m.

Arguably one of the best views on the Isle of Wight, from Shanklin Down you can see all the way out to the Nab Tower lighthouse in the east, out to the Needles Headland in the west and even over the Solent to the mainland.

Sandown Beach is a picturesque location featuring golden sands and crystal clear waters. Toward the back of the beach is a paved promenade against a beautiful backdrop of dramatic cliffs, here you will discover many great cafés, shops, and various attractions.

A traditional pier in a seaside town. A good variety of machines here and indoor crazy golf. The pier itself could do with a bit of a face lift and modernising the same with the crazy golf and cafe too.
