From the Wollbach sports center, we head straight into the forest. Towards the south, towards Räderkreuz, there's also the option of hiking toward Lebenhan. To do this, we cross the road to Bad Neustadt. We reach Lebenhan on beautiful gravel and tarmac paths and turn east again to return to our starting point in Wollbach after about eight kilometers.

You can hike around the small village of Heustreu. From the heights west and east of the Streutal valley, you'll repeatedly enjoy beautiful views of the lovely landscape all the way up to the Kreuzberg and the long Rhön mountains. At the Räderkreuz (wheel cross), you can see far into the Saale valley and our district town of Bad Neustadt. a
