Unusually shaped church that seems to have been extended more than once, sitting in well kept grounds that lead directly from the road.

Beautiful old church and small but well kept graveyard and grounds, looked great in the sunshine and I'm sure the stained glass would be very impressive from the inside on a day like today.

Very impressive old building sitting behind ornate iron gates and situated in very well kept gardens containing many very old trees, you can see the building on crossing the river into the village.

Small bridge over the river entering the village gives a lovely view along the shallow river

Might be worth preparing yourself for all the nettles as i'm still feeling the sting 6 hours later. Wear some joggers as the bottom section is overgrown and hanging into the path, there are also a few brambles to negotiate but it's pretty much all downhill and there are some nice rooty sections to get a bit more technical.

look out for the field of ponies to the right, if you're lucky you may just see the latest members of the herd. On a hot day you'll see the little ones lounging around.
