静けさと自然を求めるなら、「マンスホルター・ブッシュ」に立ち寄ってみてください。 この森林地帯は330ヘクタールに及び、自然保護上重要な意味を持つ、歴史的に古いオークとシデの森です。この地域は貴重な森林群落を抱えています。場所は、栄養が豊富で水が滞留する「ラウエンブルガー・トン」にあります。自然の多様性は、点在する砂丘や、湿原や氾濫原の形成に基づいており、モザイク状の立地条件につながっています。 森林（220ヘクタール）は、種の多様性、不均一な樹齢、階層化を目指して、自然に近い持続可能な方法で管理されています。この管理の目的は、生態学的に安定した森林です。 この森林は、自然の中での散歩、ノルディックウォーキング、ハイキングに最適です。

Gristede Rhododendron Park A splendor of flowers beneath tall pines The Bruns Nursery Rhododendron Park is located in the Gristede Forest on the country road from Wiefelstede to Bad Zwischenahn. Chinese redwoods provide shade, while other solitary trees are interesting eye-catchers amidst the splendor of rhododendrons. Over 1,000 different varieties of rhododendrons and outdoor azaleas form the core of the collection. This is especially worth seeing between May and June, when the park transforms into a colorful floral landscape. Two ponds and an impressive park pavilion complete the picture. The 25-hectare site also serves as a display garden for the Gristede Novelties®, with a special focus on rhododendron breeding. More than 150 varieties have already been cultivated here. With its numerous seating areas and restroom facilities, the park is ideal for a rest during a bike ride or for a day trip.

Nethen Drinking Water Trail Fresh and healthy drinking water flows from the tap – but what is needed for it and how does it work? Find out! At the Nethen Waterworks and on the Nethen Drinking Water Trail, you can learn more about groundwater, water extraction, and drinking water treatment and distribution. Visitors can learn interesting and exciting facts about drinking water extraction and groundwater protection. The 350-meter-long trail right next to the waterworks provides an insight into the water cycle and the complex processes involved in drinking water supply. Display panels explain the importance of water and show how water extraction works. And you can see technology that is otherwise hidden. Hands-on models allow you to experience and understand what you've learned in practice. Expert guided tours are offered for groups and school classes of ten or more people.
