Right next to the lake is a large parking area for hikers, but it is closed at night with a barrier. The lake is leased to the Warmbronn Angling Club (Angelverein Warmbronn e.V.); only its members are allowed to fish here. Ice skating is also prohibited. There are several benches along the lakeshore.

A striking fork in the hiking and cycling trails in the Bonlander Valley between Weissach, Flacht, Rutesheim and Gebersheim. The seating area under the three trees is ideal for a break, especially in spring and summer.
