The JCB factory west of Rocester has worked hard to incorporate itself into the landscape. The site includes parkland and an ornamental lake which is open to the public and maintained by JCB staff. There are several statues placed in and around the lake including this flying birds sculpture.

Be sure to check the information boards and look around Denstone village whilst here.

A nice area dedicated to the enjoyment of children. The seating gazebo has a mention of Burton Breweries so it may be that they funded/sponsored the equipment.

This was erected in 1900 as a memorial to Sir Thomas Percival Haywood. The fountain is still fed by a spring and reservoir!

A parish council has painted a mural on a bus shelter in memory of a former village resident. Denstone Parish Council commissioned the design of a barn-themed mural on a bus shelter initially as part of their annual Best Kept Village Competition bid before later forming it into a commemoration to Rose Edge, a much-loved pillar of the community. As part of the village’s 2019 submission for the competition, it was mooted in a parish council meeting that the structure should be painted.
