ヴェーンデのおすすめツーリングルート

旧市街の中心は、3つの小塔に飾られた市庁舎のあるオーバーマルクトです。今日の多くの記念碑と同様に、建物は繰り返し追加され、変更されてきました。建設は1300年頃に始まり、1432年に南に拡張され、1532年に3つの塔を持つ木骨造りが追加され、1674年頃にバロック様式の外階段が市庁舎の建設を完了しました。オーバーマルクトには、通称「アイヒスフェルト大聖堂」と呼ばれる聖キリアクス教会もあります。豊かな調度品と2つの印象的な塔を持つこのカトリック教会は、1240年から1490年にかけて建設されました。これにより、ドゥーダーシュタットで最も古い建物の一つとなっています。 出典: https://www.ndr.de/ratgeber/reise/harz_suedniedersachsen/Duderstadt-Ausflug-ins-Mittelalter,duderstadt103.html

A rolling barrier for vehicles on the old border, built by the GDR. The idea was to prevent so-called border trespassers from breaking through the border with a quickly closing rolling barrier.

In the Reunification Fountain, a man and a woman—representing the people in both parts of Germany—hurry towards each other. Their arms are outstretched in a gesture of embrace. But they are running towards an invisible wall that separates them. This impression is achieved by flattening the front faces of the figures.

The Marian Column is 6 meters high and towers over the streetscape. "In 1711, parish priest Herwig Böning had the 6-meter-high round column, carved from a single stone and bearing the statue of the Virgin Mary, erected in gratitude for the salvation."

A wonderful tranquility with beautiful views

Duderstadt is a town and independent municipality in the Göttingen district in southeastern Lower Saxony.
