If you cycle from Eschwege along the Werratalsee to Schwebda, you will always have a beautiful view across the lake to Wolfsbrunnen Castle, which lies on the mountainside.

Schwebda is one of the oldest towns in the region (over 1250 years old) and is Meinhard's second largest district (around 1100 inhabitants). Schwebda lies on the eastern foothills of the Meinhard mountain range and nestles against its south-facing slopes. An intact historic town center and the impressive grounds of the manor are distinctive features.
