The ancient Romans called this mountain corniculum, i.e. Hörnli. The summit asks for a breathtaking, all around 360 degree mountain panorama. Lake Thun lies down in the valley. At the top of the horizon, the monk defends the Jungfrau from the Eiger. Stockhorn can be seen in the very first pre-Alps Rheihe on the right in the picture.
