This footpath runs on the disused trackbed of the old York to Beverley railway line. It's named after George Hudson, an important figure in the development of railways in the 19th century. This peaceful riverside path runs along the west bank of the river Hull and just a short distance east of the Beverly Drain. The path is raised so stays clear of the wet flood plain in most weather, but it can get quite muddy. Lots of birds and wildlife to spot.

The lake is a wonderful sight as you come down the hill on a sunny morning.
