The Liverpool Garden Festival was Britain's first International Garden Festival, held from May to October 1984 on a former wasteland on the River Mersey, attracting millions of visitors. Spearheaded by Michael Heseltine, the event aimed to regenerate the city and its waterfront after the Toxteth Riots, showcasing international horticultural displays, themed gardens like the Beatles maze and Japanese garden, and family attractions like a light railway. The site, now known as Festival Gardens, features the original Festival Hall, continues to serve as a public park, and is undergoing further development into a new riverside neighborhood.   They have turned the old garden festival into a beautiful location for running, walking, and cycling. You can see from the photos the old pictures with the red dragon that lead of the bridge to pets corner which has now sadly gone but I have very fond memories of all the animals

With its world class museums, impressive retail and leisure offering and vast selection of the city’s best independent and well established eateries, it’s no surprise that Royal Albert Dock is the most visited free tourist attraction outside of London, and a must-see when in Liverpool.

It's amazing on a warm sunny day. Can get windy if the weather is bad but the views are wonderful. Beware of cyclists and dog walkers

Regent Road in Liverpool is directly opposite Everton Football Club's new stadium, the Hill Dickinson Stadium, at Bramley-Moore Dock.

The view is certainly wonderful. Unfortunately, it was closed when I visited. The entrance fee is quite high.

Croxteth Hall is a country estate and Grade II* listed building in the West Derby suburb of Liverpool, England. It is the former country estate and ancestral home of the Molyneux family, the Earls of Sefton. After the death of the seventh and last Earl in 1972, the estate passed to Liverpool City Council, which now manages the remainder of the estate following the sale of approximately half of the grounds. The remaining grounds, Croxteth Park, were at one time a hunting chase of the Molyneux family and are now open to the public
