The Veiholmen Coastal Road is a beautifully scenic, narrow driving route that connects the island of Smøla to the quaint village of Veiholmen via bridges and causeways that travel over the open seas. It is a dramatic, winding path through the archipelago that is an adventure in itself and beautifully scenic.

Edøya Harbour sits on Edøya Island and is the gateway to the beautiful island of Smola. You can get to Edøya by catching a ferry from Sandvika on the Tustna island. The island is steeped in history, and it is connected to Smøla by a scenic road bridge.

Gullstein kirke is a beautiful church and a lovely foreground to Tustna and Stabblandet's peaks. It can hold up to 300 people and was built in 1869. The Fjordruta long-distance trail passes the building.

This is a delightful stretch of woodland trail that links Tømmervåg with Trollstua. It forms part of the opening section of the Fjordruta long-distance hiking trail. From here, it's not far to Trollstua and the pretty lake of Bjørnavatnet.

Very cool place to wander around. Old workshops full of tools used to build ships.

Nice boat harbor. In addition, there is a museum here, consisting of old, partly still in use buildings.
