After a major fire in 1904, it was almost completely rebuilt, using this distinctive architectural style. This makes the city one of the most attractive in the country. Beautiful cycling and hiking trail from downtown Ålesund to the Aksla summit cross viewpoint. After 418 steps, you reach Fjellstua. It can be reached by bike via a road. Definitely worth a visit
