Dollerup Bakker is a fantastic hilly landscape that was formed by the immense forces of the last ice age. This unique area offers a wonderful variety of trails that wind through rolling hills and forests, with incredible views over the picturesque Hald Lake. It is a perfect spot for a refreshing hike and a great example of the region's powerful natural history.

The entrance fee is 10 Kr.

Located in central Jutland, Viborg is one of the oldest cities in Denmark, with Viking settlements dating back to more than one thousand years ago. It's mostly famous for its cathedral and its football team, named Viborg FF.

Simply a great cycle path

A scenically beautiful plateau with stunning views over Hald Sø – or Hald Lake, Denmark's second-deepest lake. The hills are partly wooded, partly covered with heathland, dotted with juniper bushes, isolated large trees, and, ever-present, that wonderful, characteristic scent.

This cycle path is very smooth and useful to get Viborg to Herning and viceversa. Overall, it's developed on a pretty flat route and you'll be able to enjoy a pretty Danish countryside.

Great place for one night.

The church was built around 1200 from granite blocks in the Romanesque style. The interior of the church is quite simple, but it is still worth taking a look inside. The church was restored in 2009.
