The Ottergem Bridge is a fan-shaped cable-stayed bridge over the Ringvaart that connects the inner and outer ring of the important R4 connecting road around the Belgian city of Ghent and, among other things, the Ghelamco Arena. The bridge is named after the Hof van Ottergem, a centuries-old farm that was located approximately on the site of the current bridge. The farm was demolished during the construction of the Ringvaart. The bridge has two one-way lanes, a two-way cycle path and a pedestrian path. A 47.3 m high pylon carries the 7 m wide road surface over a total span of 135 meters. The bridge is beautifully lit in the dark.
