A bit smaller, but oh so brave. Mechelen is not the largest of the cities, but that does not make it any less worthwhile. This historic and child-friendly city is almost built on heritage. There is the iconic St. Rumbold's Cathedral, the Burgundian city palace Hof van Busleyden, the cozy streets, churches and beautiful Baroque facades spread on the banks of the Dijle.
