A place just outside the village of Angreau in Belgium, heading towards Roisin. Just for the pleasure of the eyes, magnificent.

The Grand Large is an artificial lake in Wallonia, not far from the city of Mons in the province of Hainaut, Belgium. The lake is located along the E19 motorway between Paris and Brussels. The marina can accommodate 157 boats. The lake is connected to two canals: to the east, the Nimy–Blaton–Péronnes Canal, to the west, the Canal du Centre.

A short tour in the Avesnes countryside offering beautiful views of Solre-le-Château and its leaning bell tower. Route mainly on asphalt paths with however a grassy path over 600m. Possibility of walking from Lez-Fontaine to the hamlet of l'Epine via the greenway. Ideal departure: the square of Solre-le-Château where parking is easy and where it is possible to eat or refuel.

Very nice bike path, apart from the concrete slabs.

There is a well-supplied grocery store in Les Ecacheries. You won't see it from the Dender towpath but if you enter the little town, you'll easily find it. The staff are very friendly and willing to help cyclists (topping up your bottle, lending a pump...). A good place to stop for food.
