The easiest way is to park your car at the parking lot of the cemetery of Vinderhoute. 100m further on, the proud Vinderhoutse Mill awaits you. Twenty meters further on, on the left, there are permanent tables, benches, a bicycle parking space and even a water tap available. From there, several walks start in the Valley of the Kale. The toponym Oude Kale, which was in use in 2006, refers to the stretch of "Poekebeek" east of the Schipdonk Canal, more specifically between the village of Nevele and the intersection between the Ringvaart and the Ghent-Bruges canal. (Wikipedia)

One of the many towpaths that run alongside a waterway. Pleasant for cycling. When it's windy, it can be quite challenging here, as there's little protection.
