The Rosdambeek valley is located in the Leie valley, between the Ghent boroughs of Afsnee and Sint-Denijs-Westrem. In the northern part of the Rosdambeek valley you will still find beautiful alder marsh forests. Here you can find marsh marigolds, goldveil or cuckoo flowers in the spring. In the southern part there is a small-scale lake landscape, with low-lying meadows, rows of knotted trees, roughness and wooded edges. In some places there is peat in the subsoil. The area around the Rosdambeek valley is in full development. In time, a strong connection will be created here between the Parkbos and the Levende Leie Nature Park.
