The fortified farm is part of the castle complex and was built, along with the castle's living quarters, around 1300 near the sources of the Triffoys stream. Corner towers were added to the farm and castle in the 18th century.

In the 16th and 17th centuries, the castle and farm were given their current appearance after renovations in 1763. Privately owned.
