In the heart of old Pescara, Gabriele D’Annunzio was born here, in the family home, on March 12, 1863 and spent the first years of his roaring life. Only the five internal rooms maintain the appearance of the original home. The stables and warehouses have been transformed into exhibition spaces. In addition to the collections of memorabilia, you can visit the Library, while in the courtyard, the ceramic portrait of the poet, by Basilio Cascella, is displayed. To introduce the D’Annunzio events, there is a video story with excerpts from the poet’s works dedicated to the family and the house where he was born.
