The choir arch visible from the exterior and the columned biforia (double-arched windows) on the top floor of the tower are still preserved from the original Romanesque church. The type of windows suggests a construction date around 1230. The nave was extended and remodeled in 1698. The tower received its impressive finish at the end of the 18th century. The present appearance of the nave dates back to the 1878 reconstruction.
