In 1842 the road to Auma was renewed and in 1843 the market place was redesigned and the market fountain was built in the middle of the market place. The old town hall, which stood on the market square, was demolished in 1825 due to dilapidation. The market school was built in its current location in 1844/45, which was then expanded at the beginning of the 20th century. 1853 - 1856 followed the new construction of the town hall, in which the city administration as well as the judiciary - official - commission found accommodation at that time in Triptis. The town hall was built in a neo-Gothic style.
