This is a large mural by Brazilian street artist Eduardo Kobra in Pisa, Italy. It is a tribute to Galileo Galilei, who was born in Pisa. The mural depicts Galileo looking through a telescope shaped like the Leaning Tower of Pisa to observe the night sky. The artwork is located on a building of the Centro Maccarone and was unveiled in November 2023.

A gigantic mural (over 160m²) painted in 2023 by renowned Brazilian artist Eduardo Kobra on the facade of the Maccarrone Center on Via Silvio Pellico, a short walk from Pisa Central Station. The work depicts Galileo observing the sky through a telescope reproducing the Leaning Tower of Pisa: a vibrant tribute to the celebrated scientist and the city where he was born.

A Pisan municipality of about 5,500 inhabitants, Buti is located east of the peak of Monte Pisano and to the north borders with Capannori and the province of Lucca. A town of about 13,300 inhabitants in the province of Pisa, Santa Maria a Monte has always been a village much contested between the various Tuscan cities, from Florence to Lucca, until it became Pisan territory. Galileo Galilei also resided here for a short period of his life and in the town of Santa Maria a Monte is also located the Tavolaia Astronomical Observatory, active since 1999.
